EDUCATION AS THE KEY, LIGHT AND POWER TO SUCCESS.
Today I would like to talk about education. Have you ever received, acquired or gain any form or type of education? Have you tried observing, watching, practicing, recording and listening to someone or something?
Education can be defined as the ways of receiving, acquiring, gaining and learning a new or old, a unique or familiar knowledge and skills from someone or something through
Types of education
There are three types of world's education. These are;
1) Formal education.
2) Informal education.
3) Non-formal education.
Formal education
Nowadays in the twenth century education is formally. People learn with the help of teachers and guides. During the past there were no formal education.
Informal education.
During the past informal education was preferred on educating people since there was no any other option. Moreover informal education is also used today. When a person strains to learn personally without the need/help of someone or something is an example of informal education.
Non-formal education.
This it's when a person learns physically and naturally through observing, watching, listening and writing.
Both litrate and illiterate people acquire education, though illiterate people lack the formal education. Example; A traditional girl been taught how to cook beans by her aunt, therefore the girl gains knowledge and skills in cooking.
Importance of education.
1) Through acquiring non-formal education, a person gains knowledge and skills.
2) Education improves the recent world technology through advancing it.
3) Education has contributed to the creation of employment since teachers get paid.
4) Education has led to peace and unity since many different people interact while learning.
In my life time, I have been learning and acquiring all forms of education. Firstly I completed my high school level at the previous year on the year 2019 at Mt.Sinai Academy in Mombasa, hereby, I acquired a formal education. During the holidays, I used to learn and get educated by gaining informal education whereby, I was taught how to cook, ride a motorcycle, how to make mat, my grandmother used to give me stories which taught me a lesson. During the evening hours, I read and revised my notes on which I acquired a non-formal education.
Traditional education.
Traditional people got educated informal and non-formal, though people were illiterate. There were no any sources of recording informations, people got educated by receiving tell's and stories observing and listening. In addition there were specific people who were used to educate others. Example; Boys were taught by their elder men while girls were taught by the older women.
Modern education.
In this modern life today people are now acquiring formal education, many people are now literate. Education is now offered as a paid service from one person to another. Non-formal education has been developed such a way that learners learn practically.
